The gas station at your home. With the permanently installed MINI Wallbox Essential, you can charge your MINI quickly, reliably and conveniently with up to 22 kW. It is a home charging station for all Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV) and Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEV). In addition to its space-saving, compact dimensions in the MINI design, the MINI Wallbox Essential also offers convenient cable management. The status display also shows you the current status of the MINI Wallbox Essential at any time. The integrated fault current detection also enables simple and inexpensive installation. Compared to the OUC basic cable supplied with the vehicle, the wallbox achieves up to six times the charging speed.

The cabling from the house installation to the wallbox as well as the protection is specific for each market and connection case and is determined by the skilled tradesman on site.

To ensure that the wallbox works safely and reliably in the house circuit, it must be installed and connected by a specialist.
